About
Built for communities that want real connections, not random intros.
CoffeeChats.ai helps community owners, HR teams, and program organizers run reliable 1:1 introduction programs that people actually follow through on.
Founded in 2020, the platform has been used by tens of thousands of members across 500+ communities on Slack, Discord, email, and more.
Why CoffeeChats.ai exists
Strong communities are built through personal moments: a mentor reaching out, a new member feeling welcomed, or two colleagues discovering shared interests.
Running those introductions consistently is harder than it looks, especially as a community grows. Manual matching takes time. Spreadsheets break down. Generic intros are easy to ignore.
CoffeeChats.ai was created to make 1:1 introductions simple, dependable, and easy to manage, so organizers can focus on building the community instead of chasing logistics.
What we do
CoffeeChats.ai runs recurring coffee chat programs that match people based on interests, backgrounds, goals, and the context that matters to your organization.
Teams and communities use CoffeeChats.ai for employee networking, member onboarding, mentorship programs, professional associations, university cohorts, and identity-based communities.
The goal is simple: help each member meet the right next person at the right time.
Where CoffeeChats.ai is used

The team
CoffeeChats.ai is built by a small, distributed team in North America, with team members in the US and Canada.
There are four of us. We are equal parts community-builders and engineers. We have hosted professional networking events, facilitated team-building programs inside large organizations, and built technical systems that automate meaningful introductions at work and at university.
That experience shapes the product. A good matching program is not only software. It depends on cadence, incentives, timing, communication, and the small details that make an introduction feel thoughtful.
What's next
If you are building a community, improving employee connection, or trying to make a large organization feel smaller, CoffeeChats.ai can help you turn "we should connect people" into a program that runs consistently.
